Yeshua rose on the Feast of First Fruits, one of the Father’s appointed feasts in Leviticus 23.
“Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.” Leviticus 23:10-11 (KJV)
God does His greatest works on the days He calls His own:
Yeshua died on Passover.
He spent three days and three nights in the earth during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
He rose on the Feast of First Fruits.
He poured out the Holy Spirit on the apostles on the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot, Pentecost).
So how did Sunday become the “Lord’s Day”? God never called the first day holy. Read Leviticus 23 for yourself, and ask again: “Indeed, why do you break the command of God by your tradition?” Matthew 15:3 (CJB)
